Although I don’t do a great deal of skiing, I’ve been going about once a year with the scouts. I felt it would be a good idea to invest in a helmet. Ian’s helmet has already protected his skull a couple of times. This time of year, the selection is dwindling, and I did not want to pay a huge amount for the helmet. I got a reasonably priced one, but the only color available was white. White would not have been my first choice, but that is OK. When I got home I tried it on and looked in the mirror. I had to laugh because it reminded me of the Stormtrooper-like characters in the movie Spaceballs! I think I am going to have to trick out this helmet with a few decals. Maybe some dive flags or something like that.
I’m presently trying out using WordPress to update the Hydrohaven site. Since I have very little time lately for web development, perhaps using a tool with an online interface to quickly add content will help me make more frequent posts. – Jeff
